OVER 18 ID REQUIREMENTS
Piercing is an age-restricted service. Just like any other age-restricted services, you need to present a valid, government issued Photo ID each time you receive a service at Rubi’s Piercing. We do not accept the Massachusetts temporary paper ID- it is marked not valid for identifcation. (sorry! It’s not up to us)
We accept the following forms of ID for piercing services:
Valid Driver’s License
State ID
Unexpired Passport or Passport Card
Military ID
Permanent Resident Card
To receive a piercing under the age of 18, the Health Department requires your parent/legal guardian to accompany you to your appointment. Your aunt, uncle, sister, etc. cannot sign for your piercing, sorry! We don’t make exceptions to this policy for anyone. Please come prepared!

UNDER 18 ID REQUIREMENTS
It is against the law in Massachusetts to falsely make or alter a driver’s license or other forms of identification. This offense is a felony, with possible punishment of 5 years in prison. Presenting fake documents puts our business and your safety at risk and is a huge liability. Please don’t do this! If your parent doesn’t approve, you must wait until you are 18!
